EPSCA National Championships 2016
Following a weekend of intense chess playing by West Leigh Chess Team they managed to score a very respectable 14.5 points against formidable opponents to secure a silver trophy. The team consisted of Edward Cable, Lucy Cable, Sam Haque, Luca Lacey, Dylan Summers and Ethan Yau who all played 6 rounds across Saturday and Sunday at Camber Sands, East Sussex against 25 other schools in the Under 11 section. The tournament ended at a high for West Leigh when they achieved a clean sweep in the very final round.
