Year 5/6 Aquathlon

11 children from West Leigh Junior School took part in an aquathlon at Garon Park. The children completed a 100m swim followed by a gruelling 1km run in the sun! All of the children performed brilliantly and cheered each other on until the end. We saw some incredible swimming and running from the children throughout the afternoon. After all of the races were finished, it was announced that our boys' team and girls' team had both won! This meant that West Leigh are the 2021-22 aquathlon champions! Well done to all of the children involved.
