Borough Sports

After lots of training in school and at athletics club, some very talented athletes from Years 3-6 were selected to represent West Leigh Junior School at Borough Sports. In incredibly tough heat, all of the children did magnificently in their events and we are extremely proud of them! The day included eight gold medals for West Leigh in a variety of track and field events. The children were all so supportive towards each other and their fellow competitors. We're looking forward to taking those children who qualified for Super Sports back to Garon Park on the 28th and 29th June. Well done West Leigh!
