Hate Crime Assembly
As part of our work towards the Equality and Diversity mark for our school, upper school were visited by Neil Monk from Hate Crime Victim Support. He spoke to the children about the reasons why different groups of people were targeted for hate crimes and the effect that these have on the victims. The children also considered how we can help those who may be being targeted for bullying or hate crime. Neil was extremely impressed with the thoughtful responses given by our pupils and how beautifully they sat and listened throughout the assembly. This work will now be followed up in class.
