Christmas Cake Club

Each week the children have worked on a different aspect of creating their own Christmas cake. They baked the cake in a baked bean tin, then covered it in marzipan and fondant icing. They learned how to cover, emboss and ribbon a cake board. Each child then created their own design and decorated their cake using a range of techniques. The whole group worked extremely well and each child has produced a fantastic final cake to take home and enjoy over Christmas!
