Eco Awareness Day

The aim of our Eco Awareness Day was to to strengthen pupil leadership and develop their involvement in eco topics. The children looked at creating eco mascots out of junk, re-purposed plastic bottles into new and wonderful things and much more! The projects were very much child-led and the staff enjoyed their creative approach to the theme. The day was designed by the West Leigh Eco Warriors who viewed this as an opportunity to develop whole school awareness about issues they care about.
