The girls started the game win confidence, applying great pressure on the ball and finding the space to make some great runs and crossing the ball into the box but struggled to get the ball past Fairways defenders and keeper. Just before half time, the girls managed to get a goal. In the second half, the game was very even making for a tense game to watch. Fairways put our defence to the test making some good runs but our defence kept the pressure and made crucial tackles as well as some great saves from the keeper.
