Year 6 Football vs Northwick Park

The first game of West Leigh's football season was a very entertaining one! It was the first round of the Parish Cup and a seven-goal thriller. Unfortunately, West Leigh were on the wrong side of a 4-3 score line. Despite this, the team battled brilliantly throughout the game and almost came back from 4-1 to take the game to extra time. There were numerous attempts which cannoned back off the crossbar; however, it wasn't to be for West Leigh. The team were of course disappointed not to progress to the second round but they were soon smiling again after receiving chocolates from the Northwick Park teachers! Well done West Leigh and a big thank you to our hosts!
