5G and 5L took on an exciting physical challenge during a recent trip to IndiRock in Southend, showcasing both teamwork and impressive climbing skills.

The visit gave children the opportunity to experience indoor climbing in a safe and supportive environment. Throughout the day, they demonstrated focus, determination, and a fantastic attitude, tackling vertical walls and navigating a range of climbing obstacles with enthusiasm and confidence.

Even when not climbing, they participated patiently in the holding tasks, creating an Olympic Mega Event which had to include some element of climbing. We are convinced that even the most experienced and fittest athletes would have been hard-pressed to live up to our children’s expectations of what is possible. It also appears we could have some future Sports Climbing Olympians from the way so many of them scrambled, with such confidence, up vertical walls and navigated a wide variety of obstacles!
