Year 5/6 Boys' Football: Jim Smith Cup

Members of the boys' football team competed in their first fixture of the season on Thursday. The team played five matches in the group stage of the Jim Smith Cup against five other schools. They played fantastically as a team and grew in confidence throughout the afternoon. After two nervy opening goalless draws, the team put on a wonderful show of attacking football in their final three games. West Leigh topped the group and will progress to the knockout stage of the Jim Smith Cup. Well done boys!
