Sportshall Athletics Finals

Following the success of our Year 5 & 6 team in the Southend competition in January, the team competed at the Essex finals on Wednesday. The children were competing against some of the most talented athletes in the county and were so impressive in each event! Every single child managed to improve on their track time and field score from the Southend competition. West Leigh finished in 5th place, narrowly missing out on 4th on the final race! Well done to all of the children for their hard work and determination to succeed.
