Essex Dynamo Cricket competition

Today, ten Year 6 boys were invited to play in the Essex Dynamo Cricket competition due to their success in the Southend competition).

There were 18 schools in attendance at Billericay cricket club from all over the county.

The standard was extremely high this year. The children played Moulsham Juniors, Millfields primary and St Aubyn’s in the morning session before going on to play Nazeing Primary after lunch which they won by 4 runs. While rain stopped play, they waited for the final game in their division which was against Queen Boudicca Primary.

By the end of the day, the children finished 8th out of 18 schools and showed improvement in their batting and fielding as the day went on. They should all be extremely proud of their achievements and for representing their school.
