School Council have a virtual Q&A with Nathan Maguire

On Thursday, the West Leigh school councillors were extremely lucky to participate in a virtual Q&A with Nathan Maguire, who is a Paralympian who won a silver medal in the 4x100 metres relay at the Tokyo Games. The children worked together to prepare questions and present them to Nathan over Zoom, such as 'How did it feel to win a silver medal?' and 'What advice would you to give to children about being the best they can be?' We were all so intrigued to listen to Nathan's responses and learn what it takes to become such a successful sportsperson. The children were all motivated to challenge themselves and participate in a sport or activity that they wouldn't ordinarily try.
