On 16th and 17th May, Year 5 travelled to London to visit the Earthquakes and Volcanoes exhibit at The Natural History Museum. The children were treated to an interactive show where they were able to create their own destructive earthquake and volcano and study the ‘behaviour’ of lava, before heading up to the gallery where they experienced being a part of the Japanese earthquake in the simulator. The children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to enrich their learning from last term, whilst also finding out lots more.
