Windmill Theatre Sessions

To help enrich the children’s learning of their Fragile Earth topic and further their current knowledge, each class took part in a half-day session with the Windmill Theatre group. These sessions included a range of activities that helped the children build their confidence and work closely as a team. They used their voices and actions to recreate a natural disaster and then learnt lines and movements to generate a class performance to music. This display demonstrated their thoughts and feelings on how they would react when sending out aid after a natural disaster had occurred. The children greatly enjoyed this chance to work closely together, develop their drama skills and learn a little more about what it would be like to experience a natural disaster.
