Children's Parliament

On Monday 17th October, Alex McEvoy from Year 5 represented West Leigh as a part of the Children’s Parliament Select Committee at Portcullis House in Westminster. Whilst there, he met with local MP, Anna Firth along with representatives from Anglian Water, Football for Peace and Aquaphor UK, discussing important matters relating to water sustainability and management, including the topic of sewage discharge in Southend.
