Bowling Competition

On Tuesday 10th October, six of our children represented West Leigh in a bowling competition held at Hollywood Bowl, Basildon.

The children were all extremely excited. They each took turns to bowl, celebrating in their success when scoring “strikes” and “spares”. They demonstrated team spirit in droves - supporting and encouraging each other; helping with lining up the ball; collecting the ball for each other and cheering even if only one or two pins were bowled over. Their behaviour was exemplary throughout.

At the end of the afternoon, the results were announced. Team West Leigh did an amazing job, finishing in 3rd place and awarded with bronze medals.

We are so proud of you all, congratulations children!

Having fun was at the top of our agenda! Mission accomplished!
