West Ham United Premier League Primary Stars under 11 Girls Football Festival
On Thursday 30th January, the girls’ football team competed in ‘West Ham United Premier League Primary Stars under 11 Girls Football Festival’ at Woodlands School in Basildon. The festival was made up of nine schools all playing eight ten minute games. Every match provided nail biting moments with a number of close shots at goal and fantastic use of space from every team involved in the festival. The girls had to work tirelessly throughout every match, demonstrating great resilience, perseverance and determination helping them to 3 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss, giving the team 13 points, earning the team a place in the West Ham United Premier League Primary Star Regional Finals. The team were a credit to the school demonstrating superb sportsmanship and respect to all involved in the festival. The girls should feel confident going in to the regional finals as well as their upcoming league games.
