Yr 5/6 Tag Rugby B Competition
Yesterday 8 boys and 4 girls from years 5 and 6 entered the the Tag Rugby B competition at Southend Rugby club. We hadn’t played together as a team before and this was a great learning curve for us.
In our first game we played Hamstel A team and unfortunately lost 8-4. We re-grouped and played St.Michael's A team and won 10-9. We then went on to play Greenways and won 12-6. With the ground becoming very muddy our final game was against Prince Avenue which we just lost 10-8.
The children enjoyed the experience of playing on the grass and improved as the morning went on. Well done to all of them.
