On Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June, we invited a member of the NSPCC into school to hold a number of assemblies and workshops about the work of this important charity. This culminated in a whole school sponsored event on Friday June 22nd, where classes organised a range of events to raise money. The school was buzzing with excitement as water fights and water bombs erupted across the playground whilst other classes held dancing and skipping challenges, dodgeball tournaments, races dressed in pyjamas and mental maths challenges, to name but a few. All the children played a big part in organising events for their classes and some even set up their own fruit and cake stalls to raise further funds. This was a hugely successful charity event due to the commitment of all the children and the NSPCC were astounded by the support and benevolence of everyone involved. Thank you for your continued support.
