On Tuesday 12th June, nine Year 6 girls played at Garons in the KS2 cricket competition. There were 12 schools present. We lost to Earls Hall and Blenheim (by only 6 runs) and beat Temple Sutton by 17 runs. After lunch the competition had to be postponed due to the heavy rain! However the girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and their batting and fielding skills improved as they went along. I was very impressed with the way the girls encouraged each other during their games. Well done to all of them.
