Tag rugby
On Wednesday 13th October, 12 children from year 5 and 6 attended the Southend Tag Rugby Finals. Year on year, this competition sees a rise is the standards of the teams and this year was no different. Although the team lost 4-3 in the final, they played remarkably and have qualified for the Essex Finals in March.
On the way to the final the team demonstrated exceptional team spirit, the ability to learn and apply new skills, and were an absolute credit to the school in terms of their behaviour and sportsmanship.
