The children of West Leigh Junior School presented their Carol Concert at St Margaret’s Church this week. Due to Covid restrictions, this was our first musical performance since February 2020. The audience, wearing face coverings, was restricted further to one adult per family. This was in order to comply with the current church congregation capacity. This morning all children in the school took part in our annual Santa Dash! Decked in festive headgear, the children completed their daily mile as well as some musical games. They were very excited and surprised to find that a special guest had joined them! Elfie joined in the fun and cheered the children along.

On Wednesday, eight, year 6 Girls were invited to play in the annual Friendly Santa Netball Rally at Alleyn Court School. We played four games, winning against Chalkwell, Our Lady of Lourdes and Thorpe Hall and our game against Alleyn Court was drawn. Well done to all the girls and a big thank you Alleyn Court for supplying us with Santa hats and Christmas Cookies.
