    Healthy Cooking - Fruit Crumble

    Filling: Crumble: 250g cooking apples 150g plain flour 100g blackberries 90g brown sugar ½ teaspoon cinnamon 100g unsalted butter 25g brown sugar (if required) Method: Preheat oven to 180*C Peel and cut fruit into small pieces. Place into an oven dish. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and mix well. To make the crumble: Place the flour and sugar into a bowl. Add the butter and rub it in with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs Sprinkle the mixture on top of the frui

    This term Year 3 are learning all about The River Thames. As part of their Connected Curriculum work, they have created beautiful skylines showing reflections of London's famous buildings. They began by creating beautiful backgrounds in pastel, developing their blending techniques, and used careful drawing and painting skills to create the skyline. We are very impressed Year 3 - well done!
