• 200g Unsalted Butter

  • 200g Dark Chocolate

  • 265g Caster Sugar

  • 150g Plain Flour

  • 3 Eggs

  • 6 Creme Eggs (Put in the freezer for half an hour prior to baking)

Creme Egg Brownies

Wash hands
Put on apron
Tie hair back


  1. Preheat the oven to 200/180 fan.

  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together until smooth and glossy. Beat in the eggs until combined.

  3. Pour in the sugar and mix together well, add the flour and fold through until completely combined.

  4. Pour the batter into a well greased 8” square pan and put in the oven on 200/180 fan for 15 minutes.

  5. Whilst the brownie mix is baking, cut the crème eggs in half.

  6. Take the brownies out of the oven after 15 minutes, add the creme egg halves into the partially baked brownies, spacing well apart, and put back in the oven for another 15 minutes.

  7. Once baked leave to cool for several hours before cutting into slabs.
